A Storytelling of Ravens - Alexandra Penfold

“Once the corpse was safely back in the hands of Man, the ravens took flight.”A spate of suicides in Victorian England draws the attention of journalist, Ignatius Doyle, and clergyman, Canon Jeffries. Together, they seek out the hellish cause and the murderous circumstances that allowed such an entity into the world, their path in all this guided by the ravens who observe all and have their own ways of knowing just where to lead these unwitting sleuths next. Who is really behind these mysterious deaths? A nefarious London gang? The devil? And how will these unlikely detectives counter these higher powers twisting the wheels of fate?
