Aerial Sailors - Christopher Powell

This collection of poetry conveys the vibrant thoughts and memories of an artist lost in beauty; the beauty of the meadows, the water, little shops, curious animals, and the people who pass along the way. From sweet bakery shop romances, to legends of swashbuckling pirates, this collection bursts with fantasy and adventure that throws you from the comfort of an ordinary street, to the dangerous escapades of gun-slinging ants. In this familiar yet surprising world, the domestic meets the surreal as each poem takes you on a trip through nature, history, tragedy, and unbridled joy, twisting in the most unexpected of directions to showcase every corner of this brilliant world. The artist recreates, with the great care of a painter, the things he has seen in the hope of capturing it forever, and thereby "sharing his heart with the future".
