Consul at Rome - Pina Polo, Francisco (Universidad de Zaragoza)

This book is a clear and accessible reference work, the first in modern times, for the tasks performed by the consuls in the civil sphere between the years 367 and 50 BC, both within and outside the city of Rome, in such varied fields as religion, diplomacy, legislation, jurisdiction, colonisation, elections, and day-to-day politics.
