COUNTERPOINT - Mark Mannock

Two elite snipers. One deadly vendetta. When an L.A. detective is assassinated from over two and a half miles away, ex-Marine turned musician Nicholas Sharp investigates. Only one man could have made that shot—except he’s already dead. As the killer threatens Sharp’s inner circle and targets the U.S. Secretary of Defense, he’s plunged into a blood-soaked conspiracy tied to the darkest chapter of his past. Faced with a diminishing chance of survival, Sharp must take down the only enemy who can match him. But how do you beat a killer who knows your every move? Somewhere between Ludlum’s Jason Bourne and Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Nicholas Sharp may be a flawed and reluctant hero, but you sure as hell want him on your side. COUNTERPOINT is a great introduction to both the Nicholas Sharp and Lachlan Byrn Thrillers. What Amazon readers are saying about the Nicholas Sharp Series: “Wow!! I simply just kept reading, I was hooked pretty much from the start, and can't wait to read more.” “I love Lee Child and now have another author who is just as good.” “Emotions run high, as does the suspense.” "I really enjoyed the sniper-musician-reluctant warrior character." "Without a doubt, this is a cracking novel... the story keeps at you in leaps and bounds! Full of action all the way. Just brilliant!" "A clever mix of two totally different worlds." "Kicks you out of the park from the first word."
