Cowboy - Rikke Villadsen

Danish cartoonist Rikke Villadsen deconstructs the tired tropes of the Western genre with wild abandon. Villadsen''s absurd vision of the old West features exploding prostitutes, menstruating cowgirls, mysterious gender-bending, and much more; when the dust settles, the rip-roaring ride that is Cowboy ultimately reveals itself to be an interrogation into gender identity and queerness. Giddyap!
