Depression and the Soul - Peteet, John R. (Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts, USA)

Proves the old adage that the best physician is also a philosopher. This book takes the readers through a consideration of how the existential struggles of depressed individuals engage their spiritual lives by reviewing the empirical literature on depression and spirituality, and summarizing ways that spirituality and depression interact.
