Difficult Loves - Italo Calvino

Difficult Loves is a beautifully translated collection of early stories by the highly regarded Italian writer, Italo Calvino. A genius of twentieth century fiction, Calvino wrote the fictions in the 1940's and 50's. The quirkiness and grace nof the writing, the originality of the imagination at work, the inacandescence of vision make this collection a most supremely worthwhile read.
