Duduk and National Identity in Armenia - Nercessian, Andy

This work outlines the duduk, a cylindrical double-reed aerophone made of apricot wood, and its relation to the American identity. It aims to deepen our understanding of musical instruments through an examination of musical features, and also through the application of a socio-cultural framework.
