The author team: Prof. Dr. Michaela Sambanis is a chair owner for the teaching of English at the Free University of Berlin. She trains teachers and researches how we can learn languages successfully and happily. It combines neuroscience, psychology and didactics as well as science and practice. Dr. Christian Ludwig is currently a guest professor for the didactics of English at the Free University of Berlin and trains future teachers there. A main focus of his work, in addition to literature and cultural didactics, is the promotion of the mental health of teachers and learners in language teaching.
