Heavy Traffic Limits for Multiphase Queues

Analyzes several types of queuing systems arising in network theory and communication theory. This book uses many methods and results from the theory of stochastic processes. It emphases on problems of diffusion approximation of stochastic processes in queuing systems and on results based on applications of the hydrodynamic limit method.
