House Baratheon

House Baratheon is a powerful family known for quick tempers and strength on the battlefield. Having come to prominence following Robert Baratheon's Rebellion and the removal of the Targaryens from the Iron Throne, House Baratheon has been divided by deadly infighting. The branch of House Baratheon situated at King's Landing displays a crowned stag on its sigil, although its right to sit on the Iron Throne is bitterly contested by many.
