Inshe zhyttia - Khrystyna Kozlovska

The heroes of these stories are doomed to love — a love that is strange, unexpected, a love that defies the odds, a love that rises above and never falls. And it’s not just love between one person and another. It’s a love for the time and space in which you find yourself, for the world you protect, as if it were fragile, delicate porcelain, for the tiniest branch, the smallest leaf, more precious than gold. For them, authenticity is the greatest and most precious treasure. For truly, there is nothing more valuable than understanding the nature of the loneliness of the person next to you, daring to take off the heavy boots that hinder both living and breathing, catching a glance of the silhouette of a little boy, meeting someone you haven’t thought of since childhood. And the reward will be the real snow from the real sky, not entirely useful, but in love, happiness weighs more than usefulness.
