Introduction to the Old Testament - Arnold, Bill T. (Asbury Theological Seminary, Kentucky)

This volume introduces the Old Testament (also known as Israel's Scriptures or the Hebrew Bible), tracing the legacy of monotheism in ancient Israel and the enduring contribution of the Old Testament. The book explores issues of history, comparative religions, and sociology, while striking a balance by focusing primarily on literary features of the text.
