J.M. Coetzee: Fictions of the Real

J.M. Coetzee has new things to say about this relation between the 'real' and 'fictions of the real', and the central problems he deals with in his fiction are of the kind that confront people everywhere. This collection considers the question of understanding itself in Coetzee's work, and how it is central to our conception of the world.
