Legacy of Blood - Alex Connor

London, 1732. William Hogarth made a terrible error of judgment. He painted the Prince of Wales leaving a prostitute's bed. A pregnant prostitute. And now she's been killed. Hogarth has been warned. The only thing the girl's killers don't know is her child had been born - and Hogarth saw to it that he survived...This powerful secret - and the painting that proves it - has been protected by Sir Oliver Peters' family for centuries, for Queen and country. But now it's been stolen - on his watch. He heard the rumour about where it was, but he's not the only one, and as the others are brutally murdered in quick succession, Peters is in a deadly race against time - and some very dangerous people - to find it before it's too late. A legacy never means more than when it's written in blood...
