Lovesong - Morgan Abi

'That is the story of our beginning. And this is the story of…the end’ Lovesong is the story of one couple, told from two different points in their lives – as young lovers in their 20s and as worldly companions looking back on their relationship. Their past and present selves collide in this haunting and beautiful tale of togetherness. All relationships have their ups and downs; the optimism of youth becomes the wisdom of experience. Love is a leap of faith.Inspired by the T.S. Eliot’s poem, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, Lovesong is a play that speaks to all generations. Origainlly oommissioned and performed in 2011 by Frantic Assembly, it was praised for being 'poignant and uplifting' (The Stage) and has since been revived and performed all over the world.
