Margaret, Friend of Orphans - Widmer, Mary Lou

Margaret Haughery, Irish immigrant to New Orleans, could not read or write, but possessed extraordinary business acumen, and by the time of her death she had donated everything she earned - an estimated half-million dollars - to the orphans and the poor. This docunovel has dialogue added to enliven the text.
