Mice in the City: London - Ami Shin

It’s a busy morning and all across London mice dressed in top hats and smart overcoats are making their way to work by bus, by tube, and by train. The mice of Parliament are at work baking cakes and fishing to feed fat cats arriving in a hot air balloon, while artistic mice perform surreal magic tricks inside Tate Modern. The Gherkin’s business mice are busily practicing five-pin bowling, while over at the Cheesegrater, mice young and old enjoy hydrosliding through twelve stories of watery fun. Each page of Mice in the City: London is teeming with surprises and invites children to play “hide-and-squeak” with a black-and-white cat, a mouse in a bee costume, and detective inspector mouse hidden on every page. Ami Shin’s meticulous and and captivating illustrations uncover London’s most famous landmarks in a uniquely detailed way that is sure to spark the imagination of children and parents alike.
