Originally published in 1928, this book contains a critically annotated edition of the ancient Greek text of the dialogue on the life of Saint John Chrysostom by Palladius. Coleman-Norton prefaces Palladius' account with a detailed introduction on the life of the author and his relationship to the saint as well as his literary style and sources.
