Sea Glass Summer - Miranda Liasson

A moving, uplifting novel about motherhood, starting over, and an unexpected summer romance… Kit Blakemore survived losing her husband in the military, but now she’s more determined than ever to give her adorable young son, Ollie, the kind of unforgettable summers that she had growing up, making lifelong memories and friendships in the charming seaside town of Seashell Harbor. But to afford to stay, she will need to sell the fixer-upper Victorian that her husband left. She tells herself that it’s too big for just the two of them to live there now anyway.   Alex de la Cruz always had to hide his feelings for Kit when she was married to his best friend. But now that Alex and Kit are working together every day to restore her house, the attraction he’s always felt is becoming impossible to ignore. So he makes a promise to himself to leave by the end of the season. As Alex races to finish the construction, he just can’t keep his distance from Kit. When fall comes, will he still want to go, and will Kit want him to stay?
