Soft Target (An Adam Drake novel) - Scott Matthews

Terrorists prefer soft targets. Commuter trains are ideal. Plenty of corpses for the headlines. Adam Drake, a lawyer and former Special Forces Tier 1 operator, finds himself entangled in a sinister plot when his client's chemical weapon detection system for Seattle's light rail trains becomes a critical line of defense. Drake's suspicions are aroused when he spots an international banker, known for financing terrorist organizations, meeting with a young Saudi princeling on a yacht in Seattle. Though their intentions remain unclear, Drake knows he can't ignore the potential threat. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he uncovers a terrifying plan that could devastate the city and its unsuspecting commuters. With time running out and countless lives at stake, Drake must use all his skills and resources to unravel the plot and stop the impending attack. A fast-paced, action-packed thriller with a plot that could be tomorrow's headline. __________________________________________________________________Praise for the Adam Drake series:5.0 out of 5 stars The start of another great series... 5.0 out of 5 stars A Chilling and Realistic Story5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Novel5.0 out of 5 stars As they say, Ripped from the Headlines5.0 out of 5 stars This novel will make you think about the future of America. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Series Born to Be Read5.0 out of 5 stars Timely and realistic.
