Strategic Love Play - Miriam Battye

And when you see what's out there. What do you want with it. Do you want to fuck it. Like, weekly? Or do you want to sort of. Put your hands in its pockets. Take it to your mother. Love it until you die. Sort of thing. With acid wit, Miriam Battye's play takes a scalpel to modern romance. No! Fuck NO. I don't want to, like, go for WALKS and use and reuse those METAL FOIL SERVING trays all my life NO. I want to TEAR SOMEONE APART. Strategic Love Play opened at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, in July 2023, produced by Paines Plough, Soho Theatre and Belgrade Theatre, in association with Landmark Theatres.Winner of a Fringe First Award for outstanding new writing.
