The 10:12 (a gripping 'what would you do' thriller with an unforgettable heroine) - Anna Maloney

These are the facts you need to know before reading this book: on one very ordinary morning last year, a group of terrorists hijacked the 10.12 train from Manchester to London. With the authorities unable to board the speeding train, a group of passengers, led by the unlikely figure of fifty-eight-year-old art lecturer Claire, fought back, and the worst-case scenario was averted. Nevertheless, several people were killed and dozens more injured. Now you know how the hijack of the 10.12 ended. And that''s where this story starts. Because the book you''re reading is Claire''s account of that day. Responsible for the death of two people, she''s been censured as a vigilante and written off as a menopausal hysteric who escalated the situation out of control with her misplaced need to take charge. Now, for the first time, she tells her side of the story. But what if it doesn''t end there either?A breathtaking race against time thriller where nothing is as it seems and saving the day is only the beginning, The 10.12 is the perfect read for fans of Sarah Vaughan, Catherine Ryan Howard and Ava Glass.
