The Walrus Has a Right to Adventure - Billie Collins

'There was a moment... Where it looked at me. The stag. We looked at each other. And I had this feeling like... Like it was gonna show me something.'Meet Oskar, Rio and Hazel: three people getting on with their lives in different corners of the globe. They've never spoken. They've never met. But they're each about to experience a startling wild-animal encounter. One that will transform the way they think about their world. From Norway's glittering fjords to Colorado's stunning peaks via Halewood's majestic Tesco, The Walrus Has a Right to Adventure is a swooping, soaring play about instinct, expectation and identity – and what it means to be truly free. Inspired by real stories from around the world, Billie Collins's powerful and inventive play premiered at the Liverpool Everyman in 2025, directed by Nathan Crossan-Smith.
