Thinking About Literacy - Sedgwick, Fred (Writer, journalist and commentator, UK)

Fred Sedgwick's new book discusses the literacy of children in the infant years. He takes the view that the child is an active learner when she arrives in school, and that it is the school's job to build on what the child already knows.
