Tilky ne havkai - Olena Zakharchenko

Different animals - forest deer, aquarium fish, stray dogs, domestic cats, ostriches and chickens... Different people - an old emigrant, a former soldier, a girl from Chernihiv, a man from Kyiv, a young mother from Kharkiv, an American journalist... One in the morning, these animals and people were united by a common war - unexpected-expected, merciless, destructive. But this book is not about her, but about the connection of generations, heartbreaking escapes, impossible rescues, fateful meetings. About people who ran into the unknown, but did not leave those who needed help. About the circle of life, where there is a place for old and new, sadness and love. About faith in victory and about the indomitability of Ukrainians who do not give up - no matter where they are or where they live.
