Troian-zillia - Dara Korniy

Veronica had a hard time. Experiencing her tenth miscarriage and almost shortening her life, the woman suddenly plunges into strange dreams, where the souls of unborn children beg for salvation. Only the Midwife, the ghost that exists between the two worlds, can give them eternal peace, but only in exchange for the sacrifices from the world of the living, which she must take in the afternoon… Is all this vision of a sick woman, or are the deaths witnessed by Veronica really the work of Poludnitsa? Meanwhile, more and more eerie secrets are being revealed: both about the deceased friend, who is considered by all to be a barefoot woman, and about a native person who will turn out to be completely unknown. Is Veronica getting out of the trap she fell into? This story, full of Hutsul legends and mysticism, makes one wonder: perhaps it is not evil spirits that are to blame for human troubles?
