Ubyvstvo na skhodakh (Ostanni roky Stepana Bandery) - Vira Kuriko-Agienko

1957. East Germany is under Soviet control. KGB agent Stashynsky comes to the department for instructions and receives a weapon he has never seen before. Meanwhile, Munich-based journalist Stefan Popel, an emigrant from Lviv, picks up his eldest daughter from school. She is interested in recent history and asks her father about what happened in Ukraine during World War II, why he himself often signs his name with different surnames, and whether he has ever heard of Stepan Bandera, the regional leader of the OUN in the 1930s. What Stefan Popel doesn't tell us when he talks about Ukraine is that he is the Bandera that the KGB has long been hunting. Bandera does not listen to warnings, refuses bodyguards, and relies on his own revolver. He dies on the stairs, facing the killer.
