Vigilante - Cecilia Sahlström

As autumn descends upon Lund, a respected social worker is discovered brutally murdered in an allotment garden. To his colleagues and family, he was a model citizen—empathetic, loyal, and wise. However, Chief Inspector Sara Vallén senses trouble; no one is truly that perfect. If he was, then why would anyone want to kill him? Only days after testifying against the man who assaulted her, Vallén is forced to push past her own trauma to lead the investigation. The killer’s methods seem both impulsive and meticulously planned, and as Sara and her team dig into the victim’s life, the glossy surface cracks to reveal dangerous secrets and deep-rooted prejudices. “Vigilante” is the second novel in Cecilia Sahlström’s gripping and authentic crime series. Perfect for fans of Lisa Gardner and Tess Gerritsen. Cecilia Sahlström is a popular Swedish crime writer. She worked in the police force for twenty years before turning to writing.
