Viina dvokh pravd Poliaky ta ukraintsi u kryvavomu KhKh stolitti - Vakhtang Kipiani

The topic of historical memory is relevant at all times, no matter what nation, ethnic group or state we are talking about. Unresolved acute issues of the common past of Ukraine and Poland today prevent both countries from making progress on the path of reconciliation without stumbling. Under the cover of this book you will find facts, research results and opinions of leading experts on the problems of Ukrainian-Polish relations. The authors of the articles collected thanks to the popular scientific publication ""Historical Truth"" tried to highlight the truth about the controversial events of the 20th century in the history of the two nations. In particular, you will learn about: • activities of the OUN and UPA, as well as the Home Army; • the tragedy of Volyn in 1943; • the ""Visula"" action of 1947; • why Vasyl Stus wrote that he would like to be a Pole; • the efforts of Jerzy Gedroyc and other intellectuals in the search for truth through the word. The book will be useful to everyone who wants to understand why the past divides Ukrainians and Poles and why our nations will definitely agree on ending the ""war of two truths"".
