When a Dragon Comes to Stay - Caryl Hart

A warm and funny picture book about behaving yourself when visiting friends, created by the award-winning Caryl Hart and Rosalind Beardshaw. When a dragon comes to stay, will she behave herself? Why, of course she will. Obviously she knows she must share her toys and skip happily upstairs at bathtime. Well . . . not quite. Like all toddlers, this little dragon finds good manners a tiny bit tricky. It's lucky she has some friends to help her . . . she is a DRAGON after all! This delightful rhyming story is full of recognisable pre-school behaviour, and part of a series that includes When a Dragon Comes to Stay and When a Dragon Meets a Baby. Caryl Hart is the author of books and series including The Princess and the . . . and How to Grow a Dinosaur. She has won many awards including a Magnola Book Award, the Geoffrey Trease Prize for Children's Writing, the Oldham Brilliant Books Award and the Stockport Brilliant Book Awards. Rosalind Beardshaw is the illustrator of My Pet Star by Corrinne Averiss, which won the Sainsbury's Book Award and also won the Sheffield Baby Book Award.
