Callimachus Hecale

A new, revised edition of Callimachus' poem Hecale, including an English translation of the original Greek text. More interpretative evidence is adduced from the works of Byzantine scholars, and from archaeological finds which have a bearing on the myth and on Callimachus' importance in Hellenistic culture.
