Legacy Of A Shooting Star - Shahab Hashtroudi

A tender, mostly autobiographical, account of youthful promise in pre-revolutionary Iran, success and prosperity in the UK and then the shock and humiliation of a six-year prison sentence for tax fraud. On the outside, a search for wisdom sees a small boy tour Iran's ancient sites wide-eyed and then, after his father's premature death, learn how to build and develop a people-centred business. On the inside, he becomes a trusted listener to heart-rending stories of fellow inmates before re-emerging as a free man once again.
