Praying for Change - Valorie Quesenberry

Prayer changes things. Jesus Himself in Matthew 7:7–11 says, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." These 90 devotions explore the earnest prayers found in the Bible—spoken by people who struggled in their waiting but ultimately found the sustaining hope of God's plan. You'll learn much from pray-ers like Moses, David, Hannah, Paul, and Jesus Himself as they prayed their way to greater faith in the Redeemer, Sustainer, and Giver of all good things.
